I used to hate reflections. And I mean REALLY hate them. After a camping trip, my troop leader would ask us all to write reflections. I thought to myself, what's the point? But now I've come to appreciate them. Life today is so hectic that most of us just go through the day doing stuff, but not really thinking about them.

Another year has passed by, and I'd like to take a moment to reflect over past happenings and express appreciation to my dear friends. First I'd like to thank a few people:
Jean, for forcing me to do track. Best thing that happened to me this year.
Vanessa, for believing in me when I didn't even believe in myself.
Lisa, for sticking by me all these years.
Linda, for supporting the club idea at the very beginning.
"The Old Crew" (you guys should know who you are), simply for being awesome people. For lack of a way to express this in English, 很難得有這麼好的老朋友.
And to everyone else, a big THANK YOU, for putting up with this "grumpy old dwarf" and making the world a brighter place.

Looking back on my fourteenth year, I realize there are more than a few things I wish I could do over. But awhile ago, I thought to myself, what's the point of regretting everything you do? Simply regretting wont help you move forward. Instead of stressing over the past, this year I want to put all that behind me- a fresh start. I'll learn from my mistakes and try to avoid doing things I'll regret later on in the first place.

It may sound strange coming from me, but time is precious. We humans only have a limited amount of time on this Earth. Before I die, I want to leave my mark on this world. Like Alphonse Hederick from Fullmetal Alchemist said, I want to leave some evidence that I existed. What will that evidence be? I don't know yet, but I guess I'll just have to keep moving forward and find out.

that much. But a leader with more sense of
responsibility does not however come off as
reckless, but logical.
